Strantrol 930 Controller

    The Strantrol 930 provides reliable system management onsite and through remote access. The Strantrol flowcell contains three sensors for continuous measurement: pH, conductivity/temperature, and oxidation reduction potential (ORP). Sensors specially designed for industrial applications and equipped with automated sensor wash keep the system highly accurate and reliable at all times. The Strantrol 930 automatically ensures the proper chemical feed rate and reports chemical inventories and process control information to effectively manage and communicate cooling system performance. Overfeeding chemical oxidants can dramatically increase corrosion rates. The goal is to deliver the precise amount of oxidant needed to achieve microbiological control without overfeed. To address the problem of erratic chlorine/bromine demand in recirculated systems, the Strantrol 930 system, with the benefit of high resolution redox (HRR) technology, provides automatic, on-line control of oxidant feed. HRR based control monitors the oxidant demand in the cooling tower return water and automatically and precisely feeds only the required amount of chemical to achieve and maintain system cleanliness. This results in improved biological control and reduced potential for fouling. HRR is the most precise method of microbiological control available in cooling water systems today.
