Bottle Yields Mysterious Clues as Frustrated Scientists Seek Answers. Friendswood, Texas (AP, UPI)

Media sources from around the world have set up an impromptu camp in the parking lot of Quest Headquarters in a so far unsuccessful attempt to penetrate security and learn the truth of the so called "Genie in the bottle".

For weeks scientists, engineers, scholars, ethicists, and anthropologists along with the Questeam have worked around the clock in a vain effort to decipher the writings on the side of the bottle. Questeam members are optimistic that interpreting the writings correctly may possibly lead to coaxing the genie out.

Though painstakingly slow, the job of thoroughly cleaning, polishing, and studying the hieroglyphics has yielded intriguing and tantalizing clues. Engineers working together from Jacobs, Fluor-Daniel, Kellogg - Brown & Root, NASA, and Quest Technologies have learned that:

a lifeform of some kind exists inside the bottle
the bottle has an impervious seal
cannot be x-rayed
you receive a painful shock that shoots you clear
across the room into the opposite wall of the lab and
makes your arms hurt really bad if you try to grab the
seal and just twist it open.
